This handy dandy gadget makes kegged beer portable. Just fill a soda bottle from the keg and attach the CarbaCap. Use a gray gas disconnect to pressurize the bottle. The gas pressure will keep the beer carbonated until you open the bottle. Can also be used to carbonate any beverage in a soda bottle.
This handy dandy gadget makes kegged beer portable. Just fill a soda bottle from the keg and attach the CarbaCap. Depress the center spring and squeeze out all the air from the bottle. Attach a gray gas disconnect and fill bottle with CO2. The gas pressure will keep the beer carbonated until you open the bottle.
To reduce foaming during filling
- Have the soda bottle is the same temperature as the beer
- Attach a tube from your faucet that is long enough to reach the bottom of the soda bottle to fill from the bottom of the bottle up
- Shut off gas to keg and purge head pressure in the keg and allow gravity to make the beer flow rather than pressure
