Tolaini Al Passo Toscana 2020 is a wine that boasts a harmonious blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, the wine exhibits spicy oak notes that are complemented by the unmistakable fragrance of cherries and berries. The palate is characterized by a solid backbone of Sangiovese, which is perfectly balanced by the roundness of Merlot and the added body of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, Tolaini Al Passo 2020 showcases the purity of the fruit and the unique characteristics of each varietal. It is an unfiltered wine, and as such, some sediment may occur at the bottom of the bottle.

This entry-level blend of equal parts Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot offers outstanding value. The 2019 Al Passo (with 110,000 bottles made) shows bright energy and vertical lift. There are aromas of sweet cherry, black pepper, cinnamon and crushed stone. You get a wide spectrum of aromas over a mid-weight body and soft texture. Best After 2022

This wine has a deeply umami nose, with notes of mushroom, moss and balsamic in addition to crunchy cranberries. The combination of red fruit and greens with vinegar recalls a Waldorf salad. Bouncier than expected, the palate offers cola flavors, medicinal cherry and plenty of heat.
