Thread seal tape, also known as PTFE tape or Plumber’s tape, is used in a wide variety of plumbing applications, and always has a place in your brewery toolbox! It can help seal threaded connections, simultaneously lubricating and filling the connection while at the same time preventing seizing and helping to seat the connection. We recommend using this on threaded connections using our stainless steel quick disconnects to help create a tight seal. If your home brewery has a lot of threaded connections, keep a roll of this on hand at all times!
