LOCH LOMOND 2002
Loch Lomond and Kerr Cellars Limited Edition was created to celebrate Christie Kerr becoming a Loch Lomond Whisky Ambassador. The liquid is a 2002 Loch Lomond Single Malt that has been finished in Kerr Cellars 2016 Calera Clone Pinot Noir French Oak Red Wine casks.
The oak used in the barrels is Vosges Oak form the Alsace mountains in Eastern France. The wood from this barrel has been seasoned (aged) for 3 years prior to Cooperage. The markings stand for VSG very special grain, and HT heavy toast, TH toasted head.
2002 Loch Lomond Single Malt was chosen by Master Blender Michael Henry and is elegant and refined with an underlying fruit character from the Loch Lomond Distillery. The spirit was chosen to celebrate Christie’s first win on the LGPA Tour.
